Scholarships & Tuition Assistance

The MVCA Board and Administration strive to be diligent stewards of the limited needs-based assistance available on an annual basis. We believe the rate restructure introduced for the 2018-2019 school year improves this stewardship and makes access to an MVCA education more attainable.

The recent tuition rate restructure resulted in a lower tuition rate at every grade level, Kindergarten – 12th grade. With lower rates, we ask all families to consider financial assistance only after having reviewed their entire financial situation and investment choices. Below are a few baseline factors that will be calculated from the evaluation and recommendation:

  1. Full-time employment of both parents if all children are of Kindergarten age or older

  2. Significant retirement savings, savings deductions, and/or net worth

  3. Age and value of vehicles and debt liability

  4. Mortgage payment in-line with a 30-year mortgage

Understandably, applying for aid when financial choices are limiting funds available for tuition will impact the recommendation accordingly.

Deadline for applications is March 15th. All applications will be reviewed following this date.  Families will be notified upon completion of application review and committee consideration.

All tuition assistance and scholarship awards are needs based and must be applied for annually. The following process must be completed for your application to be considered:

  1. Complete a financial assessment with FACTS. Fee required.
